Regional Teacher Trainer and Consultant
BASED IN Shanghai, China

To support and further expand our presence in China and East Asia, we are now looking for a motivated and experienced professional, who will bring their pedagogical expertise to the design and execution of high quality teacher training and promotional campaigns in the region.

Key responsibilities:

1. Planning and delivering in-depth training to customers, sales teams and distributors including commercial product presentations and methodology talks
2. Providing academic support to customers and sales teams, such as advising on materials, curriculum and solutions
3. Supporting Asia marketing campaigns in terms of planning and developing suitable marketing messages and materials
4. Analyzing our own and competitor products / services key features and benefits
5. Providing editorial feedback and field research to ensure suitability of new publications for the region

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

Essential skills:
1. A minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience, including experience in Asia (across age groups and environments)
2. Previous teacher training experience essential, preferably including training Young Learner and Private Language school teachers
3. A Diploma or Master’s level related professional qualification
4. Native speaker of English
5. Knowledge of regional education systems and educational issues
6. Flexibility to travel extensively at peak times

Desirable skills:
1. Sales / marketing / management experience
2. Materials development / curriculum design experience
3. Regional language skills
