Santa Cruz Biotechnology (Shanghai) Co., LTD has immediate openings for English Document Formatting Specialist in its Shanghai division.
We are seeking qualified candidates for full-time positions. Offering entry-level positions with training provided.
SUMMARY
Responsible for the accurate preparation, including layout, formatting, editing and translation of data sheets and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs).
With a vision to collaborate with our global distributors and customers for accelerating their research, we are seeking bilingual applicants to work in our new Shanghai location.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Works on the team to develop and introduce Santa Cruz Biotechnology collateral. This includes our datasheets and MSDSs. The scope of work may include layout, editing, formatting and translating.
? Accurately develops and/or inputs layout, images and copy for collateral. Maintains working knowledge of desktop publishing packages such as QuarkXpress, appropriate fonts and extensions. Maintains working knowledge of FileMaker Pro.
? Accurately edits copy for collateral to ensure accurate, high quality materials are produced.
? Translates marketing materials and other text to Chinese.
? May become involved in other projects as appropriate.
? Provides information as required by leads/manager to aid in developing new systems and procedures to improve efficiency.
? Works effectively as a team player, supporting and cross-training other staff members to ensure the highest levels of customer support.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in science or Graphic Design/Publication.
Excellent computer, communication and proofing skills.
Bilingual in Chinese and English (written and verbal) is required.
Fluent in Japanese or Korean a plus.
