Responsibilities:
Identify Compliance Requirements
-Evaluate key issues and identify specific compliance elements to be addressed
？ -Compare requirements with current practices, identify gaps and recommend changes to address gaps

Develop and Execute Compliance Implementation Plan
？ -Determine specific activities required to manage compliance
？ -Develop new / modified processes and system controls as well as identifying roles and responsibilities to effectively address compliance requirements
？ -Rollout new processes, systems and training across the organization
？ -Monitor plan execution and progress

Manage Ongoing Compliance Activities
？ -Ensure day to day import-export activities are in compliance with policies and procedures related to Asia Pacific Customs and other government agencies
？ -Address Customs inquiries and Customs audits, and ensure compliance programs remain consistent with Regulations
？ -Determine tariff classification and validate rates of duty, determine country of origin for imported products, respond to daily request for regulatory review
？ -Responsible for review of imported products to ensure that internal control data is updated and maintained in SAP
The successful candidate must understand and support Global Supply Chain and Commercial unit strategy. The candidate will work with all members of the organization to communicate Ashland and Government policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements is being met. Act as the liaison to the organization on matters related to import-export compliance.

Requirements:
1, Bachelor Degree in related field.
2, Must have excellent English skills in both speaking and writing.
3, Knowledge and understanding of AP Customs practices and procedures
4, Expertise in tariff classification and determination of applicable duty rates
5, Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
6, Must possess solid SAP system and process management skills
7, Must have excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills
8, Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with complex business scenarios
9, Must be detail oriented and have strong problem solving skills
10, Must possess the following skills: Teamwork, Leadership, Communication, Quality, Efficiency, Innovation, Market Focus, Action oriented and Results driven.
11, Must have time management skills : prioritize the multiple tasks, deadline driven
