Main Responsibilities:

1. Fully follow INVISTA compliance requirements to conduct work related task and activities.

2. Fully follow INVISTA government interaction standard to coordinate the work with Qingpu EPB.

3. Tracking the environment related regulations on air, waste water, ground water, noise and fugitive emission. Ensure new regulations delivered to functional team and supervise functional team to conduct assessment and close potential gaps.

4. Organize site annual compliance self-assessment on environmental and tracking the finding or recommendation closure status.

5. As an enabler to promote other functional team to implement INVISTA environmental standard.

6. Set up and maintain environmental protection procedures.

7. Provide site level environment related training to employee to enhance awareness, knowledge and skills.

8. Waste water, ground water and storm/sewer water management

-organize to monitor waste water, ground water and storm/sewer water status;

-organize the deviation analysis if the monitoring data is abnormal;

-organize or participate in waste water reduction program.

9. Air emission, boundary noise,

-Organize third party to conduct annual air emission test, boundary noise test and generate annual report.

-Conduct self-tests on air emission and boundary noise.

-Supervise related party to conduct root cause analysis on deviation or finding of tests or monitoring

data and implement the corrective actions.

10. Lead or participate in environmental upgrade project.

11. As an environment professional, participate in project EHS review and MOC review from environmental perspective.

12. Coordinate the EPB inspection, and deliver result to related functional team to close potential findings.

13. Prepare environment report to deliver to Qingpu EPB.

14. Conduct internal inspection, internal audit on environmental protection.

15. Provide environmental consultant to other functions.

16. Support project to EIA approval, trail run permit application, and project environment final acceptance monitoring and project environmental final acceptance.

17. Support project to review environmental protection facility design.

18. Support site EHS improvement program.

Main Requirements:

1. Above 5 years EHS working experience or 4 year environmental protection working experience

2. Chemical or petro-chemicals industry

3. Fluent English

4. Bachelor of environmental engineering, environmental science, chemical, or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills Preferred:

1. Good communication skill

2. Excellent knowledge of local environmental protection related regulations, laws, and standard

3. Good networking within the organization and with each function team

4. Master of environmental engineering, environmental science, chemical, or equivalent
