Job Description

The successful candidate will:

· Participate in the analysis of customers’ specific requirements in order to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints in co-operation with the sales team.

· Participate in implementation projects, majorly business analysis and requirement gathering.

· Document the requirements and functional design.

· Conduct the testing in testing environment to ensure the quality of the output.

· Support SIT and UAT to identify causes of issues and find solutions with technical consultant.

· Troubleshoot customer environmental issues relating to business logic, report specification.

· Provide requirement definition for technical consultant to implement the interfacing program.

· Provide product demonstrations for customer/potential customer users and IT teams

· Actively use standard systems such as SAP and Time Reporting and follow related procedures

· Provide on-site and telephone support for clients' business requests and queries

· Regularly report to Project Manager.

· Other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Skillset

Education:

· Bachelor degree (or higher) in Computer Science, financial or related technology major

Essential:

· 1+ years previous working experience in banking software implementation and operations

· Strong Database operational skills, including some of: Oracle 10g, 11g, interpretation of views, PL/SQL Stored procedures, SQL Server 2000 and greater

· Extensive experience of implementing financial IT solutions

· Ability to work with customers at a senior management level, including western customers

· Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget

· Fluency in Mandarin, written and oral

· Fluency in English, written and oral

Desirable:

· CPA or similar qualification.

· Banking Systems experience such as Bank GL, Hyperion, Oracle Financial Suite, SAP

· Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

· Process oriented, methodical and organised

· Self-learner

· Team player with proven leadership skills

· Strong problem solving

· A willingness to accept responsibility for self and the team

· Good presentation skills

· To be based in Shanghai but with a willingness to travel up to 25%, mainly within China

· Overtime may be required in meeting project deadlines

· Energetic and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
