a) Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility主要职责/责任

1. Perform Import & Export activities for DNP China as well as for other BG/BU using DNP Services:
？ Execute routine operations for all import & export business, including customs clerance, commodity inspection, vessel reservation and documentation etc.
？ Coordinate service providers to ensure smooth goods & document flow for our import & export business and monitor performance of the service providers.
？ Execute bonded material process for manufacturing and trading purposes to ensure a accurate declaration and verification with relevant authorities.
？ Prepare accurate export statitics and documentation for export to support the VAT refund declaration.

Market characteristics :

? Customer demands fluctuating and unpredictable, e.g. sales forecasts of blends products both for ANH and HNH industries are limited due to formula diversities. Only several key accounts provide the demands, but with low accuracy.
? Customers focus more on new service patterns, in addition to traditional logistics and distribution. New business models like OEM for HNH premix business requirements.
? Continuous business expansion leads to new strategy of supply chain management, 3rd party logistics companies is taking over primary service in scope of materials and inventory management, warehouse management and physical distribution.
? Fierce competitions from domestic manufacturers result in high pressures on sales price; competition is no longer company to company, but supply chain to supply chain. Improved supply chain capacity is playing an increasingly important role than ever before to achieve business competitiveness in local and global environment.
? Supply chain network turns to be industrialized, bringing in the emerging concepts of “seeing the whole” and “extended value chain” – create value of a product from raw materials into the arms of customer.


Technical characteristics :

- Being an integral part of the demand & supply chain management, the DSCM service owns the import & export process, including the bonded arrangement for our manufacturing and trading purpose.
- DSCM service also owns the process of Tax Invoice Management to complete our OTC process


Organization characteristics :

- The DSCM Service team conducts the import & export activities for all DNP companies in China
- Requirements to serve other DSM BG/BU, like DFS, DTC, DCL, etc. add complexity due to different business requirements and diversified operation procedures.
