Requirements proposal for Industry 4.0 / Industrial IoT / Industrial Internet Intern:

General requirements:
- Motivated, good attitude
- Smart, selflearning
- Preferably living nearby
- Available at least 4 days/week
- Fluent English (CET 6)
- Software is a hobby: uses software to make things in his free time.
=> I want to see examples for this last requirement.


Technical requirements:
- Knows object-oriented programming
- Knows SQL-databases
- Knows and has experience with node.js
- Knows how to make a user-friendly platform-independent mobile/web app based on HTML5 and Javascript
- Is interested in IoT

- Knowledge of Big Data (collecting, storing, analytics tools) is an advantage
- Knowledge of nosql-databases is an advantage (for example MongoDB)
- Knowledge of some industrial engineering principles is an advantage (what is a pump, valve, P&ID, PLC, SCADA/HMI, …)

Internship goal
- Implement some first simple, practical applications of Industry 4.0 that can add value to the business of Actemium Shanghai (Design-Build and Automation solutions for Food, Pharma and Chemical customers)
- These solutions are preferably implemented based on node.js on the server side and HTML5 + javascript on the client side
- target #1: solution for Industrial IoT based on OPC UA
- target #2: safety app
- target #3: name-card app based on QR-code (company presentation, maybe augmented reality based on our 3d-drawings (.kml-files))
