Garments Sourcing Merchandiser, Shanghai- The Role:

Company: The Supply Black Book

*Research new suppliers of garments to find those offering the optimum mix of quality, price, reliability and performance.
*Manage the path between buyers and factories.
*Play a supportive role in the development of potential strategic partners from China for business growth
*Provide market updates on price fluctuations for raw materials and trends and innovations from the region.
*Be responsible for the technical approval of test and quality samples from China fabric vendors.
*Follow up orders from Product Development to Shipment
*Travel with Manager to new potential factories to analyze output and quality.

Sourcing Garments Merchandiser - The Candidate

*Native tongue, Mandarin Chinese.
*Should be fluent in both written and spoken English.
*Previous experience in Merchandising within China. 3-5 years experience.
*Strong knowledge and understanding of production.
*Problem solving approach, positive attitude, hard working, willing to grow.
*Passionate about Womens fashion and accessories will be a plus.
*Currently living in Shanghai.
*Female preferred.

Shop accessories (mannequins, hangers)

Shop fittings, furniture, signage, flooring etc.
