Qualifications required
This individual will manage the delivery of Alstom Grid Automation products projects within the Offer Creation Process ensure control and monitoring from concept through to customer delivery:
The individual will manage all the Offer creation personnel including Marketing, R&D, Automation labs, Industrialisation etc to ensure that the product is delivered with the correct quality, time and cost to meet the business requirements.
Expected duties will include
-Developing and maintaining expected and actual project costs
-Developing and maintaining expected and actual product costs
-Securing the required type and level of resource to ensure the project is completed to plan
-Developing and maintaining Project timescales providing contingency planning where required to ensure a timely
delivery
-Managing the scope content ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of the project scope and any implications
of a change
-Risk and issue management. Ensuring that all risks and issues are identified and where appropriate mitigated.
-To provide an accurate monthly management report of all assigned projects
-Call and lead Gate reviews
-Ensure all project authorisation is secured both technically and financially
-To liaise with product managers to ensure that the project scope is kept relevant
-To manage cross functional and cross continent teams ensuring the most efficient use of personnel available.
-To manage outsource services as applicable to specific projects
-To ensure that all OCP rules are fully met
-To develop the OCP processes to meet the business need.
-To communicate effectively with all the stakeholders
-Provide project leadership and guidance from project concept through to project delivery to customer and to
conduct project feedback reviews at the appropriate time.
It is expected that this position will act as the focus for project based activities and perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

This position reports to the Portfolio management organisation - Automation Products

- Engineers and managers within Global development teams
- Product marketing managers and group product marketing managers
- Industrialisation engineers and managers
- Automation products laboratories

Experience Required
-Understanding of the development, conformance and industrialisation processes required to take a highly technical product from concept to realisation in an industrial environment.
-Good communicator. Must be able to present complex scenarios whilst maintaining relevant focus.
-Fluent in English language. Additional languages are advantageous
-Have knowledge of or be experienced in Project management for hi tech development projects
-Good knowledge of Windows PC based office tools
Minimum Qualifications:
Related undergraduate degree and 3+ years relevant experience. Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred
