Job Title
Software Verification (Test) Engineer in Alstom Grid China, Substation Automation Solutions R&D, based in Shanghai, China.
Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the Software Verification Team Lead, the Verification (Test) Engineer is involved in all the global software verification (Test) activities (i.e.: analyze software requirement, design test cases, construct test specification, construct test scripts, test report...).
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
·Plan software verification activities
·Identify verification test criteria from requirements and architectural models
·Design verification tests
·Construct test cases (including protection, communication, HMI, etc.)
·Construct auto test scripts
·Execute software verification tests
·Report defects and verifying defect resolution
·Analyse and report test results
·Diligent and team spirited.
·Excellent organisational and time management skills.
·Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks
Educational Requirements
·Bachelor degree (or above) in Software Engineering or computer sciences.
·Good English skills in speaking, reading and writing.
Experience
The candidates will be required to have competency in the following disciplines:
·Minimum 3 years of software verification (test) experience in the embedded software industry
·Minimum 2 years of embedded software development experience
·Solid expertise in C/C++ software development language and scripting languages (i.e.: Shell, Python, VBA)
·Software Verification (test) experience in Power automation product development/Telecom product development is advantageous
·Solid expertise in CMMI process implementation/improvement is advantageous
·Solid expertise in test framework such as cUnit,CppUnit (for C++), etc. is advantageous
