Position: (Senior) Marketing Analysis Specialist / Asst. Marketing Analysis Manager
Objectives of the position:
Support business development and customer management by initially identifying potential customers, provision of updated market intelligence to supervisor/team, coordination with customer services / logistics personnel where necessary, assistance in product promotion, etc.
Main Tasks:
Business development and customer management:
Consolidate data on customer needs, including product application, services requirements, buying cycles, delivery schedules, customer credibility/profiles, pricing structure for specialized products within the appropriate business segment, as well as providing necessary information to other functions to help secure/enhance business opportunities and identify future customers.
Support for sales performance/strategies:
Coordinate use of other company resources, e.g. technical services, marketing communication activities to provide valued added services to accounts with the objective to influence selling potential.
Develop strong client relationship over time that providesignificant inputs to planning company product, price and service strategies.
Provide customer credit information for company credit control function, ensure timely payment of receivables to meet established sales targets and revenue goals.
Market intelligence:
Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry trends, technical development, market activities and industry intelligence to help define marketability of products and report to supervisor identified trends that could affect targets.
Collect data to establish a database to obtain, update, maintain and evaluate market trends, the application of products/technology and service needs, etc in order to support identifying new business opportunities. Conduct initial analyses as necessary and requested.
Monitor, analyze, assess and communicate monthly sales data to supervisor and propose product / service planning, revision of strategies identify business opportunities, pinpoint problem areas and provide solutions.
Prepare market research project to develop competitor grid and benchmarking analyses on competitors' positioning and the performance of their competitive products.
