Position Description: The applicant will work with various cross functional teams to support customer return and production fallout. The applicant is expected to be a fast learner and self-motivated. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Conduct electrical failure analysis (EFA) and physical failure analysis (PFA) for customer returns, qualification failure and production fallout
Circuit debug at camera module, package-level, as well as die level
Work with external FA vendors to perform PFA and provide technical guidelines
Maintain FA equipment in the FA lab operational ready at all time
Identify the root cause of the failure and drive a closed loop corrective and preventive action process, using the 8D methodology
Provide FA technical guidance and direct subcon to pursue root cause of the failure
Work closely with cross functional teams such as QA, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Application Engineering, external manufacturing and design for various product quality related issues
Demonstrate technical capabilities and provide problem resolution to assist customers to solve technical issues
Manage FA cycle time to meet customer expectations and achieve customer’s satisfaction
Support field QA engineers in a timely manner with FA/8D updates, technical communication, schedules to complete the RCCA process, and the final report to then ensure required actions are closed
Handle multiple customer returns/issues in parallel
Develop new FA techniques or methods to achieve work efficiency


Requirements:

Successful candidates for this position will have:
Device reliability and qualification experience
Familiar with CMOS semiconductor wafer Fab manufacturing processes
Familiar with CMOS semiconductor package assembly manufacturing processes
In depth understanding of CMOS Image sensor functionality and testing are preferred
Hands on die probing experience
Ability to understand schematics circuit and physical layout
Knowledge of physics and optics related to camera modules is a plus
Proficient with EFA tools like Devware, Teradyne tester, source meter and oscilloscope？
Experience and process knowledge on FA tools like EMMI/TIVA/SEM/TEM /EDX/FIB/TOF_SIMS/XPS
Able to program and understand visual basic are beneficial
Strong technical knowledge and lead in problem solving
Profound communication and good organizational skills.
Good team player
Minimum 2 year working experience in semiconductor industry
