POSITION:



Technical Writer (Jiading, Sandvik Mining)



SCOPE:



Responsible for:

Creation and maintenance of the Customer documentation:

Compulsory Operating, Maintenance and Service manuals.

Optional Instructions related to Customer Services Offering.

Delivery and management of 3rd party documents to Customers together with Sandvik manual binders or with documentation mentioned above in electronic format

Ensuring on time delivery of complete and accurate documentation manual sets at the time of Equipment delivery



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



· Strong focus on safety is a must, in planning and implementing technical documentation systems and processes in line with SMC's OH&S policies, procedures and objective at all times.

· Following SMC global documentation standards , writing instructions and other documentation related definitions.

· Responsible for fullfilling the scope, which local Information Architect and Documentation Supervisor have outlined

· Responsible for following base material given by R&D department, Assembly and other internal departments.



Requirement:



Chinese/Mandarin mother tongue and very good command of written English is required

Proven computer skills: being professional in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat.

Read and understand engineering drawings and diagrams

Knowledge of common standards and guidelines for technical documentation, especially of mechanical engineering and plant manufacturing
