Position: Production & EHS Supervisor

Responsibilities
The Production and EHS Supervisor is responsible for managing day-to-day production cell operations to achieve our quality and quantity targets. He/she will manage a staff of technical production technicians, drive cross teams to achieve the cell SQDIP goal.
Also he/she need to be responsible for driving the development of a world class EHS Program for our Shanghai manufacturing site. Traditional responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining site EHS Programs, working with site management and employees to reduce risk associated with manufacturing activities at MD Shanghai, building an EHS Management System to drive excellence

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
? Provide daily guidance and management for a staff of technical production personnel
? Manage the performance of production personnel, including administering annual performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback as required
? Hire and train production personnel as required
? Achieve daily production goals, and product quality goals
? Monitor EHS regulations and ensure site EHS programs are developed and permits obtained to ensure compliance with the requirements of current and emerging regulations.
? Monthly EHS reporting to corporate, and local site management
? Serve as liaison between site and EHS regulatory agencies
? Track and manage any EHS consultants or service providers
? Continue improve the EHS in the plant
? Travel will be required to other sites to oversee EHS program development and to resolve any issues as needed.
? Other duties, as assigned.


Qualifications:
? A diploma’s degree or above in Engineering or equivalent
? More than 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and EHS, at least 2 years in a lead role
? Experience in the manufacturing of biological testing instrument is preferred
? Proven track-record of personnel performance and functional management
? Good analytical problem-solving skills
? Good written and verbal English communication skills are required
