Our client is a small-to-medium sized and family-owned company producing capital goods for scientific and industrial applications. They are able to sell 22 thousand units annually with only 4 offices worldwide, because their brand has been characterized with technology, innovation and precision.
In China, they have reached a sales revenue of 8.6 million Euro, and in 2015, they aim a rapid growth by setting up a new entity in Shanghai. With this new strategy, the General Manager is looking for a dynamic person to set up their service network and own service team. Besides General Manager, this role would report work related activities to International Service Director sitting in the Headquarter.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the performance and support of all service activities in China, including
service, maintenance and calibration
- Organize and manage customers’ requests
- Execute after-sales technical service professionally and follow the corporation mission
- Work out and implement regional strategy together with Director International Service
- Provide reports and figures
- Cooperate with sales
- Promote commercial service, such as repair, spare parts, maintenance contracts
- Identify, recruit, train and support Third Party Service Partners (TPM)
- Maintain and develop service and aftermarket network
- Build up and manage a field service organization in China
Key Requirements
- Master degree in the field of engineering
- Successful records of leading a servicing team for capital goods
- Authorized to perform cooling work
- Good technical comprehension
- Success-oriented performer
- Good at dealing conflicting situations
- Able to work under pressure and busy schedule
- Resilient, flexible, friendly
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
