- For our Wind Power and Renewables Division in shanghai,we are looking for a Casting & Forging Engineer

铸件锻件工程师【西门子与上海电气合资公司】 .


What are my responsibilities?

1. The main functions are explain specifications for the suppliers, clarify technical questions from the supplier, Supplier Qualification, FAI, Translating standards from Chinese to English and reverse, etc. Support supplier to develop and optimize manufacturing process

2. Prepare accurate reports in web based share point. Provide support for upcoming market screening of new supplier opportunities.

3. NCR case handling

4. Frequently travel to suppliers.

5. Propose suggestion to improve product design.


What do I need to qualify for this job?

1.Bachelor or master degree in mechanical or material areas.

2. Knowledge of Casting & Forging

3. Make sure that the specifications are understood and followed by the supplier. Ensure that important product parameters are checked in a competent way

4. Minimum 5 years working experience in Casting & Forging

5.Former work with wind turbine components is preferred

6.Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Good at coordinating internal and external resources. Team work spirit. Collaboration with local and international teams.

7.Fluent in oral and written English.
