Lear Automotive Fabrics (Rui 'an) Co., Ltd (“New Trend”) was formed through an acquisition of a 75% stock in the New Trend Group Co., Ltd, a Chinese privately owned enterprise founded in 1986, in August 2008.
The core business of Lear Fabrics centers on the production of automotive interior fabric, commercial fabric and commercial plastic goods. Through the acquisition, Lear hopes to vertically integrate cloth trim into the seating value chain and thus provide value enhancements and cost savings to it's customer base
