UniqueSoft is a software services company headquartered in Palatine, Illinois with offices in Europe and China. UniqueSoft provides software development services to its customers using its own revolutionary software development technologies. These technologies redefine software development by utilizing a set of fully automated and coherent tools. Using these tools, UniqueSoft is able to develop high quality software in a substantially shorter amount of time than the traditional methods.

UniqueSoft is currently looking for a system engineer/system architect.

The main responsibility of this position is to work closely with our customers to gather system requirements and to work with our engineering staff to perform high level design and project cost estimates during our early stage of project initiatives. Bid & proposal and marketing support activities are expected. Experience in system design and implementation of large scale telecommunication and/or IT network systems is a must.

Requirements:

1. At least 10 years of experience in voice & data telecommunications, IP network,information system, and/or IT infrastructures;
2. At least 5 years of system engineering, system design, or architecture experiences;
3. Customer interface experience - must enjoy working with customers at the requirements level;
4. At least 5 years of software product design and development experiences;
5. Thorough understanding of software product development processes;
6. Motivated to explore and to understand new or unfamiliar domain areas as required;
7. Excellent in communication and executive level presentation;
8. Excellent team player with other functional teams including marketing and engineering;
9. Some travel is required;
10. BS degree in engineering or science is required, MS+ preferred.
