Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

1. Perform structural and processing CAE analysis, cooperate with local technical team to help customer to optimize the part/mold design and processing. 2. Provide relevant CAE technical consultation/training or on-site support to commercial team or customer. 3. Together with the local/global technical team to translate the needs from customer into activities to support the application development. 4. Build solid relationship with global CAE team and coordinate relevant CAE support to different areas 5. Closely work together with commercial team and other technical colleagues to improve project development

Qualifications/Requirements

• Doctor in solid mechanics, engineering mechanics, material mechanics mechanical engineering or relevant major, graduate before August.2012• Familiar with both FEA and FEM, be better to be familiar with CAE software: Hyperworks, ABAQUS/Ansys…Moldflow• Be able to use CAD software : Pro/E or CATIA to modify CAD model • Good communication skills. Be able to coach customer and discuss alternative solutions with them• Fluent in English, be good at communication skill• Working well under pressure• Good capability of issue analysis and solution coming out effectively

中心坐落于上海张江高科技园区，占地面积47,000平方米，于2003年5月投入使用，是国内最大的独立外资研发机构之一，也是国内极少数具有基础科学研究能力的企业研发中心。

GE中国研发中心现有研发人员1400多人，60多个拥有世界一流设备的实验室，其研究力量主要集中在以下领域：

• 清洁能源，包括洁净煤、风电、太阳能发电等；
• 水处理与海水淡化；
• 材料科学，包括纳米材料、晶体、陶瓷，材料分析；

GE中国研发中心每年完成100多个研究项目。截至2009年底，GE在中国的研发人员共申请了450余项专利。
