Job title: RFIC/Analog IC Design Engineer (All Levels: from entry level to Principle Engineers)
Job description
As a RF/Analog IC Design Engineer, you're joining an exciting startup and working on cutting-edge technologies. You will be responsible for designing and implementing CMOS key transceiver blocks, including LNA/PA/Mixer/PGA/PLL/LDO/AD-DA. You should be able to perform the design from architecture to transistor based on specifications. You will work in a strong and diverse team to meet scheduled deadlines, performing simulation and participate in layout and testing of the transceiver IC.
Skills required
- Need to have basic knowledge about wireless systems
- Need to have knowledge about tradeoffs among various transceiver architectures
- Solid understanding in RF system design and tradeoffs
- Solid understanding and design experience in RF blocks including VCO/PA/LNA/Mixer/Frac-N PLL in CMOS.
- Solid understanding and design experience in analog blocks such as LDO, PGA, LP/HP/BP Filters, temperature sensor and power management circuits in CMOS.
- Must have basic IC layout skill and can work with custom IC layout designer in floor planning, running LVS/DRC and perform parasitic extraction for post layout simulation.
- Test/debugging knowledge to devise test plan and design for testability.
- Behavior modeling using CppSim/Matlab/Simulink/VerilogA for RF systems or blocks.
- Knowledge/experience in millimeter-wave circuits is a plus.
Education
MSEE required; PhD preferred;
