职位描述

Purpose:
The primary role of the HR Manager is to serve as the “liaison” between the associates of D.D. Williamson in China and the needs of the business, coaching associates on how to balance individual needs with the expectations and responsibilities associated with D.D. Williamson. Build positive relationships with all associates through regular contact and communication, working to help resolve issues in conjunction with the appropriate coordinators/managers. Coordinate HR and Continuous Improvement functions in China, working with the VP Global HR and local Operating Team to ensure that we live our associate focused values: Attract talent; develop, challenge and empower associates; expect performance AND Engage in Continuous Improvement

Principle Responsibilities:
? Uphold D.D. Williamson’s Values and Beliefs, Mission Statement, and Quality Policy.
? Is an active member of the China Operating Team
? Human Resources Management: Engaging associates in the China in compliance with local prevailing labor and tax laws
? Selection & Recruitment: Facilitates the assessment of staffing levels with key managers, and ensures that the hiring process is completed quickly and effectively.
? Compensation & Benefits: Completes regular benchmarks of compensation for all positions in China; and recommends compensation changes according to company guidelines and tax laws. Executes payroll accurately, on time and on budget.
? Industrial Relations: Keeps a good relationship with the China Union officials and attends meetings as required
? Training & Development: Ensures that needed training (from individual or group assessments or from legal requirements) is planned, completed and training goals have been achieved, personally training on regular people subjects
? Performance Management: Ensures the completion of the performance feedback system, providing support to managers and ensuring that appropriate skills are in place
? Quality Management: Maintains a high quality culture focusing on continuous improvement. Ensures that all new associates are trained basic CI tools and understand the DDW quality culture.
? Coaching & Mentoring: Coaches and mentors peers from other functions and helps them understanding the “people side” of their role
? Communication: Reviews and improves communication. Organizing regular communication meetings and awareness days and assuring the company’s culture of open and effective communication.
? Legal: Develops Associate Handbook and trains managers how to approach disciplinary procedures, appropriate opportunity for improvement, including terminations.
? Health & Safety: Responsible to maintain an effective occupational health scheme and to implement a perfect working environment for associates in line with legal requirements.
? Administrative: Maintaining the Human Resources Management System up to date and treat personnel data confidentially according to legal standards.
? Administers core HR programs such as compensation, benefits through FESCO
? Coordinates (with Operating team members) the business function agendas and activities (Communication Meetings, Awareness Days, IFI Committee Meetings and company functions)
? Supports the global Talent Bank initiatives and implements these in Asia
? Responsible for facilitating the onboarding process for new associates and/or associates who have changed their roles

Skill Requirements:
? University degree required
? Strong language skills, written and oral, in Mandarin/Shanghaies and in English
? Has ideally some work experience with a western company
? Experience in HR required, management experience preferred.
? Strong interpersonal skills
? Highly developed organizational skills, with emphasis on handling multiple projects at the same time
? Ability to manage projects independently while keeping all constituents informed
Physical Demands:
? Occasional travel needed, some international
? Occasional and brief work to support evening and overnight shift work
