Purpose of the Position:

• Lead the operation of Joint Lab, a collaborative R&D facility between Corning Incorporated and Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, China Academy of Science (SICCAS)

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operation under Corning's protocols, standards and values. Make sure the lab is always in good condition and ready to support R&D project activities.This includes (but not limited to): maintenance of lab equipment & facility, capability building as needed, safety, people, etc.
• Work closely with cross-functional, cross-cultural, global R&D project teams (both internal and external to Corning) to define & execute project plans
• Satisfy both internal and external customers by responding to project requirements in timely manners and meeting project objectives
• Maintain and strengthen long-term relationship with Corning's partner(s)
