Job Description

A. Quality Control Management

1. Participate actively in the New Products Introduction phase by defining relevant controls to be made on PCB / PCBA / Semi-Finished Assembly / Finished Product and Packaging. Those controls include inspection during raw materials reception (IQC), SMT Assembly process (SMT IPQC), AOI & SPI, as well as inspection during assembly (IPQC), packaging process (product packaging, master carton) and random inspection (OQC). This phase must be done in collaboration with the company’s CTO, Program Managers & Process Engineers

2. Guarantee consistent high quality during mass production of PCBA / Semi-Finished Assembly / Finished Product and Packaging including:

a) IQC inspection of raw materials: PCB, electronic / electric components, plastic parts, mechanical parts, packaging parts, etc.

b) SMT IPQC: First article inspection, AOI / SPI controls, manual visual controls, PCBA inspection after reflow

c) Semi-Finished Assembly IPQC: Perform multiple Quality Controls at relevant / critical steps of the assembly line

d) Finished Product Inspection: Perform Quality Controls on production line once the product is fully assembled (aspect, stickers, presence of mechanical parts like screws, etc.) & ready to be packaged

e) Packaging inspection: Control the product packaging along with its master carton (quantity / reference / sticker & QC stamp presence), palletization & container loading to avoid damages during transport

f) OQC: Implement a picking procedure on finished pallets to randomly control entirely the master carton, product packaging, finished product, stickers, notices, etc.

3. Manage customer complaints by doing a thorough analysis of the non-conformities’ root cause & define a clear 8D action plan including preventive & corrective actions to avoid similar non-conformities to happen again

4. Define & create any relevant document such as Control Specification documents, procedures and records (manual or computerized) in order to guarantee the above-mentioned points.

This phase must be done in collaboration with the company’s CTO, Program Managers, Process Engineers, Purchasing Team, Production & Warehouse Managers as well as the Sales team

B. Quality Control Department Human Resources Management

5. Dimension QC team by recruiting / firing / promoting team members. Train & motivate them by establishing a clear system of measurable objectives in order to individually evaluate their performance

6. Control overtime allocated to each team member by following the company rules or management instructions on that matter

C. Company Safety Management

7. Be in charge of guaranteeing the safety within the company’s premises by following instructions coming from Top Management and the local government authorities

a) Create relevant procedures to pass the safety certification required by the local government

b) Implement created safety procedures in the company efficiently

c) Train employees of all departments regarding all safety matters related to procedures

d) Organize & monitor security / safety related actions in warehouses / workshops and on assembly lines to protect all employees

e) Follow-up external safety-related matters such as medical check-up for employees, communication with local government, etc.

D. Equipment internal & external calibration / control

8. Establish & follow-up a clear schedule for all equipment external / internal calibration & control in the company including machine, toolings, measurement tools, fixtures, calibration tools etc.

E. Quality Management System

9. Manage actively the Quality Management System of the company in order to pass any required audit by Top Management such as ISO 9001:2008, French Norm: NF / CNPP audits, CCC audit, etc. and act as Management Representative for all these audits

F. Supplier Evaluation Management

10. In collaboration with Purchasing Department, frequently evaluate, qualify or disqualify suppliers by grading their performance and/or preforming audits of their premises & internal processes such as purchasing, quality, production processes, etc.

G. Other tasks

11. Organize & prepare the monthly Quality meeting to summarize the company’s quality level for the month & establish a clear action plan to improve subjects that created problems over the month

12. Perform any other tasks assigned by CEO & Board of Directors

Job Requirements

Master’s Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with an experience in Electronics

Fluent in oral & written Chinese

Fluent in oral & written English

Fluency in French is a plus (communication with clients are in French / English)
At least 5 years working experience in an Electronics Manufacturing Services company (complete industrialization of electronics products)

Proactive, independent & professional skills are a must

Strong technical background related to SMT process & electronics finished products assembly & packaging processes

Excellent team spirit & interpersonal skills (communication with clients as well as with colleagues)
