职位描述
Job Responsibilities:
1. Collect & analyze the info coming from the market (CRM specific reports, direct visits to customers and buyers) and produce quarterly product strategic report to Product Director & Top Management;
2. Monitor the open opportunities related to his product (CRM) supporting the sales team with supportive documents and samples (sales kit) in order to win them;
3. Collect the feedback of lost opportunities and analyze the reasons (summary to be included in the quarterly product strategic report);
4. Improve the relationship with buyers and brands, seek for info exchange on market trends and final product developments, promote and improve the machinery/product knowledge and awareness amongst them, facilitate the relationship between brands/buyers and our customers;
5. Draw the main specification for machinery improvement and new machinery/products producing suitable business cases and NPIP documents to be brought to Product Director attention for approval;
6. Follow up the product/machinery design and development making sure that the project scope and timing is fulfilled by the Project Managers and R&D dept.;
7. Draw the market strategy for new products launch producing suitable documents with value propositions, main characteristics and technical information;
8. Be responsible for the launch in the market for new product as well as for time to market and price strategy definition (in cooperation with mkt and sales dept)
9. Draw price list and update it as soon as new features are available, check and keep updated the product specification in CRM with the help of senior product specialist. In case the sales configurator is available, keep it updated with new machinery and existing machinery improvement cooperating with R&D and IT depts. for its maintenance;
10. Train the sales and marketing force on new products and improvement of existing products;
11. Plan and control product/machinery trials (at customer’s site or agent show room or private shows) making sure of their success;
12. Approve and supervise the sample production activities (both for product development and customer/buyer’s support) and collect feedback for this activity (summary to be included in the quarterly product strategic report);
13. Monitor and collect info on the competitor’s activities in coordination with mkt, sales and after sales teams (summary to be included in the quarterly product strategic report);
14. Calculate the production costs for different final products/garment and compare with the ones from competitors’ products and/or the ones coming from similar technologies. Prepare feasibility study to confirm the business’s product competitiveness in the market;
15. Support after sales service for technical issue on products in charged;
16. Be responsible for the exit strategy of obsolete machinery from the market.
Job Requirement
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
2. Good communication and interpersonal skills (fluent English is required);
3. Knowledge of knitting machinery and textile technologies;
4. Knowledge of marketing principles and practices;
5. Knowledge of business and management principles and practices;
6. Project management skills;
7. Quantitative and business analysis skills;
8. 3+ years in sales or after sales depts. plus 3 years as sales manager or after sales manager or marketing manager or product manager in textile industry (better if it is in knitting industry).
