Purpose:

Take care Planning and Production of the assigned supplier groups in capacity management, delivery performance management and the timely resolution of production issues. Work across all assigned garment suppliers and cross functional team internally and externally (like development teams/Technical team) in order to reach deliver objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

? Identify factory’s capacity and capabilities according to customer forecasted demand.
? Work with supplier for capacity constraint and solutions at regular basis.
? Support product transfer or reallocation within supplier group or across supplier group in different countries and regions. Ensure smooth and timely transitions for orders and fabrics in order for new suppliers meet the required delivery date.
? Manage the day-to-day production tracking, including fabric status, track production performance and proactively address potential delivery problems with suppliers, provide options and solutions to solve the issues.

? Roll out and execute all special programs into suppliers, such as Quick Response program, Short leadtime program and other corporate initiatives as required.
? Collaborate with Technical Services and/or Development Merchandisers to ensure smooth and timely transitions from development to production start to shipment.
? Consolidate and coordinate data to support LO planning manager with up-to-date and accurate reporting as needed or requested.
? Ensure suppliers and internal team understand and timely adopt new process and procedures to improve delivery and quality performance while ensuring that T1 adheres to adidas requirements.
? Train the new supplier and bring them on broad to understand and adopt the process in accordance with adidas standard.

? Global Supply Planning in Amsterdam
? Customer service team in Germany, HK and US
? Garment suppliers in China, Cambodia and Philippines.
? Development team and Technical Services team in Liaison office
? Logistics team in HK
? Sourcing management team in HK


Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

? Ability to coach, guide, manage and develop a small team (for senior planning merchandiser)
? Advanced knowledge of the apparel manufacturing environment, or strong knowledge of planning process if it is not in apparel industry
? Advanced MS Office skills and expertise of internal systems;
? Strong communication skills
? Strong negotiating and influencing skills
? Fluent in English (written and spoken)


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

? College or university degree
? Related work experience in the apparel industry, or related work experience in planning area in other industry but must be with an international company
? Willing to learn
