Malherbe Design is seeking Talented Senior Designer specialized in Retail to join his Shanghai office. With a significant experience in various fields such as Mass Market Retailers, Fashion stores or Shopping Malls you will be the main Designer of the projects you are working on. Under the responsibility of a Retail Design Manager, you will work closely with a team of designers, CAD designers, graphic designers and 3D designers with the support of the Technical department.
Pro-active, creative and very organized, you are autonomous and able to handle projects for international and local brands from brief to opening
Your objective is also to lead team’s members in order to achieve the best results for the project you are in charge of.
The perfect candidate will show a transversal expertise. His/her profile will combine creativity, technical and managerial skills.

Requirements :
Autocad / CS / Photoshop
Fluent English / Chinese is a Plus

Job Description

CREATION
1 . Develop and monitor the overall project
2 . Produce and his team produce

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
1 . Retrieve information to constitute the file upstream. Check that the file is complete . Accompany the Retail Manager to Store check .
2 .Manage the project schedule , organize regular points with the retail Manager and the Creative Director in order to validate the project's progress
4 . Follow the teams involved in each project phase : CAD Drafting , 3D graphic ...
5 . Prepare the customer presentation
6 . Accompany the Retail Manager to customer presentation
7 . Follow the project development and its APS phase and guarantee the quality and respect for the creative proposal
8 . Follow the site , prototypes, adjust if necessary and be very reactive
9 . Make photo reports, reports and on site meetings minutes.

HR MANAGEMENT
1 . Supporting Designers in their evolution
2 . Assist in the evaluation of Designers

The Project Designer is the main reference on file. He is present at every stage of the decision brief to completion. It must be able to answer any question relating to the project . He works under the responsibility of the Retail Manager and manages a team of Autocad Designers , Designers, Graphic Designers .
It works closely with the technical team at the completion of the APS and includes the support of the Technical Director in the development phase.
The Project Designer must be pro active, very organized, precise and rigorous. This is a manager and a planner.
