Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Performance Metrics

Maintain a tracking and reporting system for supplier quality performance, delivery performance, premium freight performance, and risk management

Maintain tracking of supplier quality and environmental certifications

Maintain a system to insure that the highest levels of quality and delivery performance are achieved from suppliers

Generates and publishes supplier performance scorecards

Problem Resolution

Communicate and drive resolution of supplier quality and delivery performance issues on a timely basis

Coordinates and supports supplier visits to our manufacturing plants related to quality and delivery performance issues



Supplier Development

Supports manufacturing plant efforts to improve performance by working on supplier related opportunities

Conducts audits of new potential sources, suppliers needing to improve quality and/or delivery performance, suppliers identified as high risk, and for effectiveness verification of supplier corrective action responses

Conducts reviews with suppliers and assures implementation of corrective actions across supplier manufacturing locations for all issues resulting in a "Stop Ship" or "Field Action"

Verifies supplier compliance by annual on-site assessments of "High Impact to Quality" supplier manufacturing locations

Supports development of suppliers in the areas of improved quality and environmental operating systems

Support Systems

Tracks the need for and approves new supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) packets

Maintains the quality system documentation for Purchasing

Supports internal quality system auditing as needed

Supports Six Sigma Black/Green Belt projects targeted at improving supplier performance as needed

General

Maintains and extends strong and positive relationships with suppliers and ensures that all interactions both verbal and written are professional

Remains aware of the latest developments and methods being used within the quality profession by attending meetings, seminars, training courses and reading technical publications

This position interfaces with various groups at the company's manufacturing locations and corporate departments as well as with suppliers through oral and written communications. This position requires
? Four year of university education
? At least 5 years of automotive manufacturing experience in the field of quality
? Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
? Excellent problem analysis and soliving capability who also can understand all aspects of the issue to make good decisions.
? Communicate in writing using the English language and being able to verbally communicate using the English language is a desired attribute.
? TS16949 experience is desirable
? Chemistry experience is desirable

This position is located in the Shanghai office and there are no unpleasant or hazardous working conditions.
