FAR EAST SOURCING MANAGER

China Sourcing Manager is responsible for locating and maintaining the best sources of supply for the components, materials and services the company needs. He/she consider all aspects of the relationship with suppliers, including quality, value and the ability to respond quickly to changing supply requirements. He/she’s responsible for scouting, evaluating, establishing and maintaining good relationship with potential and existing suppliers in Far east Area, with main focus in China and Taiwan.
In this position, he/she refers directly to Turolla Global Procurement Manager

Your key responsibilities:
? Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models.
? Review and approve a comprehensive list of suppliers for bid processes developed by analyzing the industry to understand trends and competitive positioning in order to ensure system activation of the best possible supply base.
? Renegotiate, renew and discontinue supplier contracts.
? Develop a negotiation strategy that delivers against business objectives and achieves sustainable relationships with suppliers.
? Identify ways to reduce costs.
? Take action to reduce costs that are focused on creating greater efficiencies, economies of scale or better quality resources for a project team, department, or business unit.
? Prepare and manage RFQ’s to all potential suppliers identified for specific business
? Manage all shipment activities and documentation
? Implement supplier agreements/contracts by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to reach agreement on contract terms and conditions.
? Manage a project and to ensure commitments are met by monitoring, assessing, and resolving variances in budget, timing or quality of work.
? Provide product and service expertise to geographic associates to build network participation and expertise.
? Ability to work both cross-functionally and globally in close collaboration with suppliers and internal functions.
? Work closely with the operations team to support sourcing projects


Your qualifications:
? Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or another related field
? 5+ years of experience in a sourcing manager role, with demonstrable experience of shipping supply and packaging commodity management
? Ability to work in multi tasking and a multi-cultural environment
? Knowledge and experience within the hydraulic or mechanical industry
? Strong verbal and written communications skills in English
? The candidate need to be a dedicated, goal-oriented person and have the willingness to work with different cultures
