Pacific Epoch, an investment research firm focused on Chinese high-tech industries is seeking an investment analyst to cover China’s consumer and retail evolution with direct coverage of multinational consumer companies, as well as broader trends and themes within the intersection of retail and e-business.

Responsibilities:

· Work with the research management team and other team members to refine the research methodologies, including developing new research products

· Conduct fundamental, forward-looking investment research in China E-commerce, at both industry and company levels

· Develop networking relationships with industry experts and other industry professionals

· Present research findings to professional institutional investors—company clients

· Participate in developing, collecting, managing and analyzing the data sets for assigned coverage

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or above from a top university

· Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English

· Good MS office skills, especially strong in Excel, PPT, Word

· Previous experience in analyzing unstructured data points and extracting insights essential

· Previous knowledge and experiences on China’s ecommerce sector will be a plus
