FTDI requires an experienced technical Engineer with strong technical ability, excellent communication skills, and a strong track record of design-in and design-win success.

As a key member of the FTDI team, he or she will be Responsible for hardware and software design and communicating with the R&D team and co-work with worldwide technical engineers to support existing products and realize future product.


Responsibilities:
+Experience with schematic design and PCB debug and system testing would be an advantage.
+Communicating with engineering groups to develop software.
+Experience with C/C++ application development
+Document all design material and make English documents.
+All work to be completed in a timely manner. Specific schedules to be set and agreed with engineering management, with any slippage in schedules to be notified ASAP to the Management / Project Leader as appropriate.

Skills:
+Basic knowledge of hardware design and debug.
+Familiar with SW/FW Design for embedded systems, C/C++ language.
+Familiar with Windows and Linux system. Know how to build and modify drivers in Linux OS will be an advantage..
+Degree major in EE or equivalent is essential.
+Understanding of USB (protocols and applications) would be advantageous.
+Must be fluent in written and spoken English
