Position Summary:
Develop creative two-dimensional solutions to fulfill client marketing objectives in a variety of venue applications including customer events, business shows, special events, press events, permanent showrooms, and other environments.

Function within a team environment to collaborate in design process and implementation of project needs.
·Integrate the graphic design process with message content to create branded graphic solutions. When appropriate, develop entertainment and/or theatrical applications for live presentations.
·Actively participate in project and department meetings and brainstorming sessions, providing graphic design perspective.

Develop brand graphic solutions to create integration with client and agency marketing communication objectives.

Demonstrate ability to support interdisciplinary working team through the project process from discovery to delivery.

Perform as a mentor and senior level designer, Showcase as a role model to peer.

Essential Responsibilities:
Consult daily with Creative Director on status update of current project(s).
·Demonstrate ability to simultaneously manage multiple client projects and meet all critical path parameters, as well as all budgetary objectives.
·Demonstrate ability to interact with clients in a senior creative role, including brainstorming meetings and input sessions.
·Assume creative position in presentations, and choreograph a well-organized thought process communicating the conceptual thought behind work.
·Collaborating with teams of diverse event marketing professionals interpreting client information, market issues, consumer and business needs into successful messages, graphic communications in exhibits, events, AV and collateral.
·Creative development and communication of brand positioning and audience specific messages within exhibit, event and business show environments.
·Active participation with other designers and outside resources in the creation, assembly and preparation of presentations.
·Active participation with outside agencies, and PICO TBA design and production studios
·Maintain all administration needs, as required, including job time records, expense reports, and vacation schedules.
·Continually seek opportunities to expand international knowledge base for application on PICO TBA client programs, including:
- Travel to shows, both domestic and international for site support.
- Demonstrate willingness to assist other PICO TBA studios on an as-needed basis
- Position meets and exceeds all responsibilities outlined in job descriptions
for Senior Graphic Designer.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
·Lead and mentor Graphic Designers and manage graphic vendor on projects and other initiatives.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
·College degree from accredited school. Major in Advertising, Graphic Design, Digital design, Visual Communications or related curriculum;
·Strong portfolio of high-caliber work;
·Proven graphic design and a plus with sketching skills;
·Broad based design experience in two dimensional or digital and familiarity in three dimensional design including: Identity systems, collateral and environmental graphic design;
· Demonstrable understanding of marketing and business problem solving to map strategic options;
·Committed to excellence in design and clear communication skills;
·5+ years of experience at an in-house or agency studio;
·Proficiency in both Chinese and English languages is preferred;
·Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
