RoHS engineer job description:
The candidate will be responsible for the RoHS compliance of the Candela profilers. The job responsibilities include:
1. Review the Bill Of Materials (BOM) and component spec sheets.
2. Determine RoHS compliance of each component based on spec sheets and/or communication with the vendors. Find RoHS compliant replacement if the original component is not RoHS compliant.
3. Update BOM and drive the product release process.

Preferred qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other technical fields with 3 years’ experience.

The candidate must have excellent English reading and writing skills. Be able to communicate through email, phone call or face-to-face in English.

Previous knowledge in RoHS is desirable.

Previous experience in contacting oversea vendor is a plus.
