I. Background Information
Position Title: WTC Finance Manager
Function/Department: Finance
Location: Shanghai, China
II. Purpose
Manage and oversee all finance activities, including day-to-day accounting transactions, operational analysis, process improvements and tax compliance etc for GM Warehousing and Trading Company Ltd.
III. Areas of Responsibility
- Manage the overall finance and accounting functions including general accounting, financial reporting and variance analysis, pricing and product line profitability analysis, annual budget. Be responsible for all BS and PL items;
- Implement finance & accounting practice and policies and ensure the compliance with company's global standard and local PRC GAAP requirement;
- Cash flow management, forecast and budget, dividend plan and financing activities.
- Analysis on special project/ business development plan
- Overall management and leadership of the whole finance team
IV. Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Competencies
Knowledge:
Solid accounting and financial reporting background. CPA/ACCA/CGA qualification preferred.
Skills:
Strong analytical skills and familiar with SAP system.
Proficiency in excel, Access database. Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
Experience/Education:
5+ years prior supervisory experience in accounting and financial reporting area and in a challenging environment particularly trading sector.
Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or Accounting, Big 4 audit firm experience preferred.
Competencies:
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment; Capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong drive to overcome the difficulties and finish the tasks within the deadline. Self-motivation, proactive, and innovative. Can be working under high pressure.
