The role is to coordinate and support regional Marketing and CRM IT Manager for defining Web Operational strategy, standards and subsequent tracking and refinements, including but not limited to web site performance measurement, GMWP and old brand site platform, Fusion, sustain management, Micro site management guidelines, regional internet domain name management, web site enhancement & deployment and also Web Security compliance to GM standards.

For any new web site development and deployment or refresh, this role engages with business to provide proper IT requirements to be part of work scope and migration plan, coordinates across business, IT and suppliers, and provides technical program management services in line with IO business for its execution.

For any new initiatives in IO region, e.g: Social Networking, Mobility and Infortatiment, the role needs to work closely with GMIO business counterpart and also global and regional IT team to ensure its strategy and approach is well defined.

This role requires strong Communication and Influence skill and shall also have understanding of CRM processes as web is one of the components part of CRM practice.

Responsibilities:

? Web site operation business metrics tracking, Brand Site sustain management including enhancement review & approval mobile application sustain management, BPO external web security management for GM security compliance etc. It should also include Web Site Incident Management, coordinate with GSC suppliers and non-GSC vendors for making sure smoothly operation of web sites. Web Site hosting operation will also be considered part of the work scope
? Manage Web related enhancement program from IT perspective, playing key Integration Role for its Roll Out. Security Program Management is also key program that needs to have proper planning including Financials management & have regular meetings with global GSSM security group.
? Manage suppliers in program/project delivery activities, driving for on time and cost effective delivery. Drive continual improvements in supplier performance and effective working relationship with GM. Those suppliers may be IT GSC suppliers, e.g: TCS as GIF and GM Data Center service provider, or non- GSC suppliers ,e.g: Ignition, MRM, Plus Line
? Define regional web operation strategy, process and practice; Assess requirements and build understanding of business needs for Web Site Enhancement, Searching Engine Optimization, 3rd party sites, Social Network and Mobility. Understand GM best practice and technology for those areas including IT security, architectural needs, recommend the proper solution for its further Roll Out.
? Manage cost profile of solutions being proposed by understanding current cost environment, market affordability and solution offerings. In addition, manage program budget for the consolidation activity once underway. Participate portfolio planning annual for Web Ops portion.
? Build and maintain partnership with key business leaders supporting business web operations and any new Web initiatives projects. Ensure that both country stakeholders immediate needs as well as long term strategic needs of GMIO business stakeholders are catered for.

Requirements:

? Deep knowledge of Web Operations including security vulnerability management, monitoring and metric tools for measuring performance of web sites. Understanding of IT operational framework, ideally ITIL. Have hands On experience for incident management. Solid understanding of web development frameworks and environments ideally has spent some time in a developer role in the past (though current role is NOT a developer role).
? Should have level of understanding of digital marketing space as its new technology/tool for Social Networking Monitoring, Mobile Development etc..
? Strong project planning and management skills required, strong technical understanding of web development software, architecture , security compliance and toolsets commonly used in web development, understanding of strengths and weaknesses of various toolset.
? Good communication skills, good business sense and financial assessment and management skill.
? Experience working multi-nationally, running programs in the web development/deployment and Digital Marketing space, managing web operation for web sustain and hosting , managing financials at a program and/or portfolio level, IT degree, experience working in a global organization is beneficial.
