Job Description and Responsibilities
As a part of Video Codec IP Development team, you will be responsible for:
- Multi-format video decoder firmware development
- Multi-format video encoder firmware development
- Transcoder firmware and API development
- SOC integration/simulation/emulation support
- Customer support
Position Requirements/Qualifications
Education: B.S/M.S degree in Computer Science or Micro-electronics or equivalents
Experience: Should have 3+ years experience in firmware development for video decode/encode or related projects
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Familiar with video compression/decompression algorithms and multimedia applications.
- Familiar with video codec standards such as H.264, MPEG2, MPEG4, etc
- Skillful in C/C++ programming language.
- Good knowledge in ARM based embedded system design.
- Team player and self-driven.
- Good command of English and good enough to attend meeting
Any of the followings will be a good plus and preferred:
- Familiar with Image processing algorithm
- Have skills in FPGA development
- SOC project experience
