Responsibilities
? Responsible for the full outdoor furniture supply chain from product development until shipment
? Interact with international customers regarding new developments/offers, orders, updates, sampling, production status
? Price negotiations with suppliers and buyers
? Maintain high customer service
? Providing solutions and support to ensure smooth production process
? Identify new suppliers and manage existing supplier base to meet customers current and future business needs
? Selection of new articles and product development
? Planning of sourcing and buying trips


Essential Skills & Requirements
? University degree
? Over 7 year experience in outdoor furniture merchandising for European market and especially Germany. Experience with the Australian market would be desirable but is not essential
? A proven track history of success working as a Senior Merchandiser and/or high performing Merchandiser ready for the next step
? Passionate about outdoor furniture
? Strong merchandising/sourcing experience in Asia and especially China
? Good product sense as well as understanding of market trends and customer needs
? Ability to network with customers from Europe as well as from Australia
? Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
? Highly organized and uses time efficiently
? Efficient autonomous personality with strong negotiation skills
? Team player and always willing to learn
? Great command of both verbal and written English skills
? Willing to travel frequently
