Overview
Supervise the logistics operation, optimize the shipping arrangement, manage forwarders,prepare logistics analysis reports and KPI reports of forwarders/3PL vendor for management review, and check payments, handle claims to forwarders/3PL vendor and special issues like special urgent shipments, customer complaint with the objective of smooth, efficient, cost saving shipping arrangement and customer satisfaction within RFQ requirements and company regulations/policies.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Brief outline of main duties
Daily Shipping Management
(i) Check the daily report submitted by forwarder in order to ensure data accuracy
(ii) monitor the daily operation of forwarder in order to ensure process, regulation & policy be followed strictly
(iii) handle accidents, shipping related complaint from internal or external in order to keep customer satisfaction and minimize the negative impact to TE and customer
(vi) resolve the issues reported by forwarder in order to ensure no issues be neglected
(v) keep close communication with other internal functions in order to ensure the seamless coodination among functions in logistics.
Reporting
(i)Prepare cost analysis reports and other issues to management with suggestions in order to ensure the latest situation be updated to managment
(ii)Prepare the reports per instruction of management in order to assist management to review and analyze the situation
Payment
(i) Check the freight and claim to forwarders in order to ensure accurate payment ;
(ii) Check the freight allocation by BU in order to ensure accurate allocation and payment be submitted to finance on time.
Forwarder Management
(i) Identify and resolve the forwarder related issues in daily operation and escalate critical unresolved issues to manager in order to avoid the possible loss due to these issues;
(ii) Idendtify and modify the SOP of forwarder in order to meet TE policy and customer satisfication.
Customer Service
(i) understand customer's requirements through close communication with BU employees and customers in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
(ii) handle customer complaint / special requirements in order to minimize the negative impact to customer and TE.
Education, Technical Qualification & Experience
Bachelor degree
1 years experience in domestic shipping/ I&E affairs
skillful in cost analysis tools
skillful in Microsoft office
Personal Attributes & Competencies
Communication skills, customer service mindset, proactive, self-learning capabilities, business sense, change agility and integrity.
