Position ：Field Application Engineer

Job Description
1.Product Evaluations and Characterization
Work with applications, software and test engineering dept. to evaluate and debug of new and existing products. Develop and modify evaluation software and hardware for product evaluation. This includes design, layout and contract manufacturing of printed circuit boards(PCB), and design of evaluation system.
2.Customer Technical Support
Interface with customers to solve all problems related to application of our products in customer’s product and system. If necessary, candidate has to travel to customer’s premise and work with their engineers to solve product design, application and production issues.Collect and report the customer info to the manager.
3.Agent’s FAE Training
Work with Application engineer (AE) of our distributors, representatives and reference design partners to solve customer’s problems. Provide all product documentation and training to Agent’s FAE organizations.

Job Requirements
BSEE degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent, MSEE is preferred, 3 years of similar working experience in the industry, master the background knowledge of Image processing and A/V processing is a plus.

Chrontel designs, develops and markets semiconductors which enable personal computing platforms to transmit visual information to a variety of display devices, such as televisions and flat panel monitors. We were founded in 1986 and have been developing mixed-signal semiconductor technology since then. We are a leading provider of TV-Out integrated circuits for personal computing platforms, which connect desktop or notebook computers to standard televisions.
