Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Dept: IE Dept

Direct Report: IE Supervisor

Internal and External Contact:

1. External: Machine/Fixture/Tools Supplier, Parts Supplier, Customer

2. Internal:R&D, Purchasing, Production, Controlling, Quality, Maintenance.etc

Key Responsibilities:

1. To assist to develop assembly process for new products

2. To assist design of assembly line layout according to lean production

3. To optimize the layout, balance the machine, people and process, make OEE improvement proposal.

4. To prepare detailed process/machine specification

5. To conduct relevant tasks for APQP (PFMEA, DFQ, SOP)

6. To review supplier design concept

7. To implement and commission machinery during build and install process(PPAP)

8. To assist to do machines pre-acceptance and final-acceptance

9. To handover to production and maintenance, including conducting operator training

10. To provide input for Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA)

11. To support and consult with Quality in terms of quality issues (Control Plan)

12. To support and consult with Purchasing department in supplier development

13. To support Process Engineering and Product manufacturing Engineering on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities and continuous improvement projects as related to: Cycle Times & Line Balance, IE Methods or skill

14. To take part in problem solving including manufacturing process, bottleneck management and quality

15. To participate in implementation of ZPS(ZFLS Production System) and CIP(Continuous Improvement Process

Requirements:

1. Working Experience: Around three years working experience in Process/Manufacturing Engineering, prefer in Automotive industrial

2. Education: Bachelor degree or above in mechanical or electromechanical engineering

3. English: Fluent both in spoken and written English

4. Computer: Windows XP package, MS Office, AutoCAD / ProE

5. Professional Skills and Abilities:

-Experience and good working knowledge in assembly

-Proper knowledge in mechanical

-Basic knowledge of TS16949, EHS

-Exposure to design for manufacture (DFM) processes
