Job Description

1. Support sales team in acquisitions for activities in terms of technical quotation

2. Translate customer requirements into internal engineering electrical, functional and performance requirements

3. Support product development teams by defining product electrical interfaces (System Block Diagram), product functional specifications, communication interfaces and diagnostic interfaces

4. Analyze the system requirements

5. Align and provide customer specific technical documentation

6. Negotiate performance specification with customer

8. Support definition of new system architectures and functional contents

9. Propose and explain architectures, functional solutions & algorithms in cooperation with international development teams

10. Participate actively in knowledge transfer between application and platform team

11. Ensure that China-OEM requirements are taken into consideration during platform development

12. Support local quality engineering team in development related quality issues

13. Support customer on-site during system tuning and system validation phase

14. Conduct on-site trainings about product specific innovation and platform topics

Job Requirement

1. Bachelor or Master Degree, major in Automation, Software, Electronics/Electrical Engineering;

2. Good understanding of vehicle automotive E/E system with good electrical and electronic background;

3. Min. 3 years of electronics (hardware/software) design engineering experience, harness (design) engineering, system engineering or requirement engineering in automotive industry;

4. Min. 2 years experience in cooperating with vehicle OEM;

5. Good English language skills;

6. Work experience in international company environment is preferred.
