ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
(The fundamental job duties)
1. Provide technical support to key EDB customers; observe customer facilities and problems to evaluate and determine causes of potential or immediate problems and to make recommendations. maintain close relationship with customers.
2. Keep abreast of worldwide technical programs and collaborate on joint programs. Communicate with US and Japan EDB experts to technical support China projects.
3. Initiate and execute technical service projects to support market developing, be as project leader in stage-gate system to push project forward.
4. Provide support and conduct technical training for sales team and clients as well.
5. Plan, design and implement or supervise lab test/evaluation per the request of EDB customers and salesman, etc. analyze experiment result, submit professional report.
6. Knowledge and use of statistical methods to examine data and make recommendations.
7. Contact internal/external personnel by phone, fax, e-mail in person, to obtain and transfer information regarding customer problems, file and manage customers’ enquiry log.
8. Possess extensive, readily available information to enable fast response to customer inquires.
9. Provide detailed descriptions on processes and equipment needed to utilize Lord Adhesives.
10. Team work with Manufacturing technical& QC to solve quality complaints and improve customer satisfaction.
11. Translate customer's/market needs and champion the Company's product modifications and new product development.

MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
(The requirements that an individual must absolutely possess to perform the essential functions of the job.)
1. BS major in polymer science or chemical engineering.
2. Above 3 years working experience in rubber and/or adhesive technology. Within rubber industry customer facility, must be able to observe and understand the entire customer process.
3. Good written and verbal capability in English.
4. Good presentation skill and technical reporting capability.
5. Good communication skill and team work.
6. Good operation competence. Be able to use basic lab equipment such as rubber miller, molding press, sand blasting machine, etc.
7. Fluent computer software and database skills.
