Job title: Textile and Home Quality Control Inspector


Responsibilities:

1. Work with the technologists to ensure that the factories are able to make the bulk production as per the approved samples.
2. Inspect the development samples, buying samples and contract seal samples.
3. Inspect and approve components / trims against approved sample prior to production.
4. On line inspections. Must be competent in ensuring that the factories are following the correct production procedures and quality control procedures.
5. Check that all labeling and packaging is as per the customers labeling and production specification.
6. Carry out final QC inspection against approved Contract Seal samples and complete detailed QC inspection reports.
8. Ensuring that detailed records are kept of all QC reports.
9. If product does not meet specific standards be able to make recommendations to improve the quality of the product at an early stage prior to production commencement.
10. Initiate non conformance reports [ eg Material Rejection notices ] if required.
11. Work closely with factory to resolve any inspection issues.


Requirements:

1. Must have at least 3 years experience in Quality Control of textile.
2. Good team player.
3. Able to communicate in both written English and oral English.
4. Detail orientated. Strong sense of responsibility. Willing to learn, willing to work under pressure.
