Title of Position: Domestic Project Manager
Division: HVAC and Door Product Line
Department: Project Management
Report to: Director of Project Management
Location: Shanghai Office

Job Purpose and Scope:
1. Overall: The Project Manager of domestic HVAC and Door combines technical knowledge with sales skills to effect the satisfaction of the customer/prospect. The emphasis of the work and technical knowledge shall parallel the need to competently sell and support the project and/or service offered. He is a decision maker when needed;
2. Support during the Tendering stage;
3. Respect QCD and Increase efficiency respecting existing approved processes;
4. Customer focus: Ensure excellent customer relationship at the project management level. Support the Site Manager (SM) and System Technical Manager (STM) who are in charge in front of the customer when difficulties;
5. Decrease our engineering costs by challenging and assisting our CoCs in properly structuring and narrowing our proposals and associated engineering;
6. Develop and manage dedicated action plans with project team to meet growth and profitability;
7. Promote repeat orders relevant to the project;
8. Manage a regular risk analysis;
9. Control customer claim.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Overall:
Lead and Drive the Project(s) and control, as project entrepreneur:
- Profitability vs approved budget
- CC and CM
- Opportunities
- Working Capital
- Overdue
- Risk mitigation
- QCD objectives and process follow-up
- People

2) Tenders:
- Ensure an active participation during Tendering and Bid process on request

3) Project Reviews:
- Ensure an efficient project management during Project life time
- Schedule and Drive the monthly project review for his portfolio
- Ensure QA is properly implemented for the project
- Propose and Drive the improvement action plan when needed

4) Interface with Customers:
- Lead any Progress meeting and reviews
- Support the RTP during customer project review when necessary or on request

5) Quality:
- Ensure the level of the PDG projects Non Quality Cost is under the PDG objective.


Work Experience Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a PM and Management role.
? Sales and Projects Management of technical projects & services in the industry sector;
? Team building and Management;
? Int’l business experience in multi-cultured organisations and customers;

Specific Knowledge:
? Experience in PM and associated support tools (scheduler, cost control, etc.);
? Understanding of railway doors systems business;
? Understanding of manufacturing processes (Supply Chain Management);
? Knowledge of engineering disciplines;
? Knowledge of cost control and finance (WIP, risk analysis, opportunity);
? Commercial ability and knowledge of business environment of customers.

Business understanding and skills:
? Sales & Tender processes;
? Understanding customer’s strategy & needs;
? Communication of strategy and direction;
? Organizational structure / behavior.

Education Requirements:
1. Engineering Degree B.S Engineering and/or similar in experience, Master in science / business and/or similar in experience is a plus;
2. Languages: English is mandatory, German a plus, French an advantage.

Other Requirements:
1. Strong communication abilities;
2. Project and Customer oriented is a must.
