Business Unit
The Wafer Inspection Division (WIN) is the world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced optical inspection tools for inline monitoring of process defects in advanced semiconductor factories.

Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for supporting KLA-Tencor's wafer inspection products in the field. The candidate will provide and manage product penetration and adoption support, customer demonstrations, and head-to-head (H2H) activities at customer facilities. Projects will also include new product introductions and characterization, beta testing and early evaluation tools. The candidate will be responsible for generating best known method documents and other training materials and transferring this knowledge to KLA-Tencor's worldwide Applications team and customers. Lastly, he/she will work closely with customers to develop solutions to problems, and publish papers at industry symposiums or in technical journals. This position provides opportunities to work closely with many organizations including worldwide applications teams, engineering, sales and marketing within KLA-Tencor and with customer engineers outside of KLA-Tencor. This position may require 80% travel to support products at customer sites.

Preferred Qualifications
- Have MS, or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, Material Science or related fields.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, combined with a methodical approach, and clear communication.
- Well-organized, strong follow-up abilities, demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Have training in semiconductor or related fields. Having a background in IC processing/Semiconductor equipment is a plus.
- Have excellent communication, organizational, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skill.
- Be self-driven, yet a strong team player to thrive in a dynamic environment.
