Synopsis

IBM Cognos TM1 was introduced two years ago in EF Education First and has been rolled out to different divisions within the company. Due to the growth of the project we are looking for a Senior TM1 Developer who will contribute the business engineering team to enhance and maintain all the models in the system. The focus will be on the division located in China and therefore the role will be located in the Shanghai office of EF Education First Ltd. The role will be reporting directly to the Head of Business Engineering.in Switzerland and work closely together with the project and finance team in Shanghai. It is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into a fast-growing international business, and build upon your financial expertise and TM1 experience.

The Role:

EF Education First is currently accepting applications for the position starting asap, resp. in April 2015. As a Senior TM1 Developer your responsibilities will include:

?Collection of (internal) user requirements of a currently rolled out global budgeting and analysis system
?Develop and enhance the TM1 modules according to received instructions
?Review and analysis of existing, resp. depending processes in place, including blueprinting of these processes
?Documentation of rolled out functionalities
?Proposal of improvements on current structure and framework
?Assisting in various projects

Requirements:

?Experience in design, development and implementation of IBM Cognos TM1 models, TurboIntegrator scripts and TM1 Web tools
?Collection of data, data validation and presentation of analysis through Cognos TM1
?Experienced in creating complex cube and dimension models in Cognos TM1 and including design and use of rules and feeders
?Solid experience and understanding of TurboIntegrator scripting including feeders.
?Experience working with Cognos TM1 Active Forms and TM1 Web tools, IIS is a plus
?Able to translate business requirements into a robust technical designs
?Security setup
?Experience in MS Excel, SQL Server, Data warehousing and related skills are desirable
?Minimum 2 years of previous job experience, preferably with exposure in a global organization
?Strong communication skills and attention to detail, fluent in English (both spoken and written)
?Analytical approach to problem solving
