Principal Activities:
? Verification of board-level and ASIC hardware designs using environmental stress testing
? Creation of embedded software to exercise the hardware under test
? Development of the hardware and software of the test system
? Analysis of test data and troubleshooting failures
? Working with the hardware and embedded software teams to build quality into the product design

This engineer can handle a broad set of computer and electrical engineering assignments including firmware and software design, and the verification, test and debug of digital and analog circuits. She/he must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. She/he must be able to work independently and tackle challenging tasks but also enjoy a team environment and have strong interpersonal skills. Good analytical problem solving skills are required with a quick and creative mind. Ability to provide technical leadership is strongly desired.

Minimum Set of Requirements:
? M.S./B.S. or Equivalent in Electrical or Computer Engineering
? Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in hardware/embedded software development and design.
? Strong knowledge of computer architecture and experience with electrical circuit design.
? Experience with C Programming
? Experience with assembly level programming
? Experience with Embedded Software Development environments including troubleshooting with logic analyzers and digital scopes.
? Strong English language communication skills.

Desired:
? Experience with environmental stress testing
? Experience with Statistical Analysis
? Experience developing Perl scripts
? Experience with Verilog/VHDL and FPGA development
? Software Application Programming in Windows
? ASIC Block Level Design, Testing, and Verification
? Experience with I/O such as USB, LAN, SPI, I2C, etc
? Soldering skills
