Main Function Responsibilities and Activities:

1) Ensure appropriate measures & resources in place to achieve the global design engineering function and teams quality goals, and lead as the focal point for the internal and external customers pertaining to quality system matters

2) Ensure a proper management system sustained to maintain the necessary system certifications in the design engineering scope

3) Manage the corrective and preventive action process; Ensure proper & systematic corrective and preventive actions taken to determine root causes and provide detail action plans to eliminate the causes. Properly follow up on the actions;

4) Define relevant actions and lead implementation plans to ensure continuous improvement of deliverable quality. Ensure appropriate level of involvement of the required people

5) Track, evaluate and report process control status and quality reports. Address customer complaints regarding quality issues. Validate analysis and action plans to resolve problems. Ensure such action plans are implemented

6) Monitor and improve customer satisfaction level in quality areas

7) Design process control and manage the continuous improvement process, including engineering documentation and records control process

8) Provide full support to the Audit team to ensure company system evaluation objectives are met

9) Develop quality awareness across global design engineering teams (develop and deploy training on design Engineering quality principles, methods and process)

10)Lead the Design Quality assurance team and support them in their activities; Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; performance; appraisal rewarding and disciplining employees

11) Regular Report to DQA director all Design quality activities, metrics, achievements and issues

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

1) Bachelor or above degree with major in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related subjects. Require more than ten years working experience in High-Tech industry in Quality management function, preferably in Design Quality management function, with more than five years in management position

2) Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, and familiar with quality control tools such as PFMEA, DMAIC; experienced in internal & external audit processes and techniques

3) Strong leadership and initiative;

4) Strong problem solving skills, able to handle effectively with ambiguity and under limited instructions, may deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

5) Must have the ability to drive major initiatives, have a can-do attitude and is adaptive to changes.

6) MS office proficiency; strong presentation & interpretation skills for flow chart and drawings

7) Proficient in English
