ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
I. Importation handling
1. Clear the shipments within the agreed lead time and be responsible for the necessary documents returning;
2. Coordinate with Customs, CIQ and forwarders to smoothly handling import shipments.
3. Apply for the necessary imported licenses in advance for the imported items
4. Set up import & export process and procedure, supervise and ensure import operate in order; make sure all action conform to Customs rules.
5. Control the inland freight and the handling charge for every shipment;
6. For all capital investment, input in distinguishing the spare parts and equipment, which has to be duty-paid and which can be exempt from duty.
7. Guide the internal departments to know more about internal I&E business to avoid cost loss in daily work;

II. Documentation Management
1. Keep all of the imports and exports documents well (at least one copy) in the file for 5 years
2. All of the documents for outside clients should be accurate and consistent;
3. All of the practices in the Customs Clearance on behalf of Schaffner Shanghai should be legal and none compliance with the regulations observed.
4. Control freight payment application closely to ensure all payments can be traced per Schaffner order & other Schaffner tasks. Perform analysis as management required.

III. Forwarders/Customs Clearance Agents and Team Management
1. To secure the smooth delivery of the Products;
2. To set up the measure index to monitor the forwarders and agents performance;
3. To co-operate with other functions such as planning and purchasing to fast respond the customers demand.
4. Assist the selection and control the Customs Clearance Broker
5. Update the newly introduced policies of the Government
6. Systemize the Custom Clearance to prevent any possible abuse and illegal practices.

Requirements:
- Education: College or above and logistics related
- Experience: at least 5 years experiences in related area
- Good computer and english skills
