C.H. Robinson's Asia branches are in China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan China, Republic of China, Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong China.
The Marketing Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day to day process of marketing operations, including inbound requests, inventory, vendor management, project traffic to and from vendors as well as other important initiatives and communications as assigned.
As Marketing Project Coordinator your main accountabilities will be:
*Coordination and managing all aspects of designated projects effectively, on time, on budget and to agreed quality standards. These projects may include, but are not limited to:
-Manage, track and oversee trade show scheduling process for branch offices.
-Work with new branches during the branch opening marketing process.
-Responsible for inbound requests from branches (directory changes, etc.)
-Maintains vendor relationships and acts as traffic manager between marketing departments to vendors.
-Manages the traffic flow of design assets for projects to ensure proper and timely delivery to vendors.
-Maintaining an accurate list for internal and external production schedules. Communicates changes and new deadlines to managers and creative staff that are involved.
-Works closely with creative team to coordinate efficient flow of projects to and from vendors.
-Primary communication liaison between marketing team and vendors.
-Provides support as needed on billing and related issues, including researching costs and estimates from vendors.
-Manages inventory of all sales-related materials and fulfillment through vendors.
*Owner of regional department Worknet portal and survey tool – updates and maintains as well as providing training.
*Owner of C.H. Robinson web shop development and ongoing management – manages stock of merchandise and fulfillment through vendors (Conduct quarterly branch survey (email or call) to measure branch requirements.)
*Manages aspects of various marketing related projects (company-wide subscriptions to trade magazines, various e-mail announcements)
*Manages budgeting and invoicing process accurately and on time. Provides status of marketing expenses on a monthly basis (before the 15th of each month) to Director of Marketing.
*Manage mailing lists (e-mail and traditional) for customer, carrier and internal communications.
*Other responsibilities as assigned.
You will have the following profile of experience:
*Proven experience in a relevant position – in an international, fast growing industry
*Preferred education: bachelor’s degree or equivalent
*Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Internet research
*Adaptability to learn new technology and computer skills quickly
*Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
*Extremely thorough, with follow through to completion of tasks
*High level of attention to detail
*Self-motivator, self-starter, proactive, and strong self-discipline
*Multitasking capabilities and prioritization skills
*Displays a high level of professionalism
*Team player with ‘can do’ attitude
*Knowledge of-or background in the transportation industry is a plus
*Knowledge of design process and graphics terminology
