· Understand the retail markets in which we trade for product handwriting through in country visits.

· ?Evaluate the Tesco International Sourcing supply base for product offer, design support, and fabric/trim sourcing and put into place systems to deliver best in class systems

· Research and communicate Tesco International Sourcing supply base market intelligence to the Commercial Merchandising Team when required

· Establish close working relationship with Global Design and Buying teams through regular communication

· Manage all TESCO Global Design and Buying sampling with Hub Merchandise team to ensure on time delivery of samples to the Global Buying Teams

· Develop Tesco International Sourcing supply base in terms of skill to land right first time sampling through specialist knowledge and coaching to continually upskill our supply base

· Attend key sourcing fairs with Category Managers and Hub Merchandising Managers to understand and support new suppliers into the Business where required

· Meet agreed travel budgets for the year

· Build team capability and improve staff retention where required

· Spend time on personal development

· Managing Ad-hoc and Special Projects with Category Managers and General Managers to support continued growth of the Tesco International Sourcing Business where required

Tesco Sourcing was established in Hong Kong in 1977, currently sourcing from 1,596 factories across 45 countries.

Tesco Sourcing is the sourcing operation of Tesco, for F&F Clothing and General Merchandise products. With our main office in Hong Kong, we operate through hubs in 7 countries and have more than 500 colleagues working with us across Asia, the Indian subcontinent and Europe.
